We made history this week, saying for the first time that people have a right to not be destroyed by sickness.
It wasn't easy. Overcoming roadblocks and obstruction to pass critical legislation in the Senate takes tremendous effort.
That's why I'm throwing my support behind Kendrick Meek, because I know he can handle the long hours and tough fights that are facts of life for a U.S. Senator. Kendrick has proven that he's got the energy and determination to accomplish great things as Florida's representative in Washington.
But he can't do it alone. Kendrick needs us to be just as hard working, just as dedicated to getting him elected. He needs 1,000 donors before the end of the month to meet his fundraising goal. With less than five days until the pivotal 3/31 deadline, he can't afford to fall short of any goals. Won't you please be one of the 1,000?
Click here to donate $35, $50, or more to Kendrick's campaign and help him reach his goal of 1,000 new donors by the end of this month.
Kendrick showed his dedication to his constituents when he traveled to Haiti on his own dime to help in the recovery effort. He showed he's ready to work hard by attempting to become the first statewide candidate in Florida's history to qualify for the ballot by petition. And he showed he's ready to fight for what he believes in as he campaigned to reduce class sizes in Florida's public schools.
Kendrick is ready and willing to do the heavy lifting needed to succeed. I'm helping him but I need your help. Please be one of the 1,000 donors we need to help ensure Kendrick wins the race for Florida's Senate seat in November.

Kendrick's opposition thinks they can win with special interest money from big, powerful benefactors. Let's show them that grassroots donors can and will prevail. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
Sen. Bill Nelson |
