Welcome Message -Hello and welcome to the County Commission District 9, the largest geographic district in Miami-Dade County. Since 1993, I have proudly represented the residents of this area, which includes portions of Miami-Dade County as far south as the Monroe County line. Since I was first elected, I have had the opportunity to serve my community and help pass legislation that makes a difference in our neighborhoods, as you can see in my News Releases, Legislation Sponsored and Photo Gallery web pages.

Commissioner Moss elected 2009-2010 Chairman of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners - Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners elected today 15-year Miami-Dade Commissioner veteran Dennis C. Moss, District 9, as its 2009-2010 Chairman. The role becomes effective on January 1, 2009.

Commissioner Moss, County, City and the Miami HEAT launch anti-litter campaign - The anti-litter campaign is a joint effort between the Community Image Advisory Board, the City of Miami and the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to pick up litter and clean roadways.
